Google wave: a lesson in focus

**Update Nov 2011: **  Google have now announced the final shutdown plans for Wave and is handing over to Apache.   This month saw the announcement that Google is killing off it’s Wave product, less than 3 months after launch. For those that do not know, Wave is a collaborative communications platform that merges features found in email, instant messaging, wikis and shared documents.
