Home Office Printer Review: Samsung Laser ML1865W

In today’s modern workplace, the ability to work flexibly from the home office is an essential.  One area usually overlooked is printing and we were no different, struggling with home inkjets.  We recently decided to replace these with small-footprint lasers and the ML1865 from Samsung fit the bill perfectly.

The Samsung Laser ML1865W measures 34x34x17cm in use and comes with both wireless and USB interface.  The USB connection is required for the initial wireless setup.

This printer is no slouch and prints at 18PPM.  Print quality is very good with crisp text at all sizes and clear graphics shading.  During printing the unit is very quiet in operation and wont disturb others in the house.

a 150 sheet paper tray means you wont be refilling every five minutes and the included 700 page toner will keep you going for a while.  Replacement toners can be picked up for less than £45 and last 1500 pages.

Overall this is the perfect printer for the home office, it’s size and cost (£70) make it an ideal addition to your working set up.
